The bulk of the interview that is not recorded had primarily to do with the link between yoga and life coaching. Life coaching is for people who feel stuck in work or relationships but don't know how or are too overwhelmed to proceed. The benefit of incorporating a yoga practice with life coaching is that it acts like a bridge. Yoga bridges insights gained in life coaching into a practice that we come back to on a day-in-and-day-out basis. It helps us to integrate insight into our body, which creates a profound, lasting change naturally propels us into action and ultimately fulfillment.
Life coaching is also for people who have already been practicing yoga but are ready to take what they've learned on the mat into life. Yoga practice not only strengthens, increases flexibility, and quiets the mind, but it also inspires a change of life. For a lot of us change can be like walking into a dark cave. Life coaching is like a lamp that can illuminate the crags and the turns. It can inspire you to live from the values that you cultivate in yoga class. When we make choices and live life in tune with our values, our lives take on a quality of authenticity and fulfillment.
